New CEO of ZMT: Dr. Lars Bomholt

The board of ZMT is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Lars Bomholt as the new Chief Executive Officer of ZMT Zurich MedTech AG effective June 1, 2015. We are confident that Lars, with his extensive background in computer modeling and simulation for engineering, will lead ZMT into the next chapter of expanded product innovation and growth. 

Prior to joining ZMT, Lars served as chief technologist with industry leaders in technology computer aided design and electronic design automation, a field where simulation has become an indispensable pillar of progress. Lars holds a PhD in computational electromagnetics from the ETH Zurich and has held key leadership positions at various universities and companies that specialize in simulations.

With his unique blend of knowledge, experience, and insight, Lars complements ZMT's strengths and know-how, and we look forward to his expert guidance in this booming field as ZMT evolves further. His leadership will generate added momentum to ZMT's contributions and efforts in computational life sciences towrds refining the industry’s most comprehensive product line of validated computational phantoms, life sciences software, and test equipment.
