Major ViP Extension: Morphing of Virtual Population Models Broadens BMI Population Coverage

Our Z43 partner organization IT'IS Foundation has released of a range of morphed computational anatomical models (mViP) that provide even better coverage of the human population. The new anatomical models are based on the reference Virtual Population v3.1 anatomies that have been morphed to a range of BMI values. The morphing technique is based on a biomechanical model of the human body and imitates weight gain/loss in an individual.

This release marks a remarkable breakthrough in realistic morphing of computational body models and the first step to a broader range of virtual anatomies for computational life sciences.

Sim4Life Workshop @ Neuroscience 2017

Our workshop ‘Sim4Life - In Silico Solutions for Advanced Electroceuticals’ to be held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Washington DC on 14 November 2017 during the Society for Neuroscience 2017 Annual Meeting. The workshop will feature in-house experts and external guests to illustrate current efforts and perspectives concerning in silico multiscale modeling in the context of bioelectronic medicine.

RESTORE Project Partners on One-Week Training Visit at Zurich43

This week, doctoral students – Andreas Rowald and Nathan Greiner – from the group of Prof. Grégoire Courtine at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), and Edoardo Paoles from G-Therapeutics, partners on the Eurostars-funded project RESTORE, will be at Zurich43 for a week of intensive training on the Sim4LIfe computational life sciences platform.

ZMT is pleased to announce the release of Sim4Life V3.4, including our latest innovation – IMAnalytics – for the smooth, comprehensive, fast, and error-free analysis of the magnetic resonance safety of implants. In combination with IT’IS’ novel exposure MRIxViP libraries, the new module reduces evaluations from several weeks to just a few hours.
