Fortunato, Cosimo

Cosimo completed his Laurea degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Florence, Italy, in 2009, with a thesis on phase retrieval in optical microscopy images by means of non-interferometric techniques, in co-operation with the Institute of Complex Systems of the National Research Council.

While pursuing his PhD in non-linear dynamics and complex systems at the University of Florence, Italy, Cosimo joined the "Nello Carrara" Institute of Applied Physics of the National Research Council in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy, where he  worked as a Research Fellow, mainly on algorithms implementation in the fields of light scattering simulations by plasmonic nanoparticles and infrared spectroscopy. He has strong passions for percussion, jazz music, and responsive web design.

Cosimo first joined SPEAG in September 2013 as an intern. At the end of his internship, he stayed on at SPEAG as an Application Engineer.
